My Game Design Tip: Write it down!
I have been keeping a few notebooks of game design ideas and and other thoughts related to game development. It is useful for me because my memory has never been picture perfect.

Occasionally I pull it out to reference during a conversation with other game development students here at the University. I’ll say something like, “I was thinking about that very same thing the other day…” and then share what I had jotted down.
However, I was surprised and honored when I walked back into the room one day to find out that while I had stepped out, the conversation had revolved around my notebook and what they wouldn’t do to get a copy of it.
Many of my current projects are based on ideas I have scribbled down in the middle of the night. So my advice… keep a notebook of your ideas. Because if you’re anything like me, you’ve forgotten more than you’ll ever know.
